Lillian Powdrill, age 82, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Golden, pastor of Rising Star Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Lillian was born on January 27, 1934, in Caldwell, Texas, to the late Allie B. Everage, Sr. and Gertrude (Clemons) Everage. She married Hollis Powdrill on August 12, 1958, in Yuma, Arizona. She moved to Olney in 1973 from Pasadena, California. Lillian was a faithful member of Rising Star Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess, served as President of Women’s Day Service, sang in the choir, worked with vacation bible school and various areas of the church. She was the President of Progressive Texas Baptist Association/Mission 1.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Allie B. Everage, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Hollis Powdrill of Olney; two sons: James Oggs and Charles Bedford, both of Olney; two daughters: Patricia Joy of Fresno, California and Janice Marie Powdrill of Lakewood, Colorado; three sisters: Hope Elaine Barrs of San Bernardino, California, Charlesetta Wesley of Olney and Billie Pickett of Olney; one brother, Daniel Everage of Albuquerque, New Mexico; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be on Friday, May 13, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
