Rosina Dobbs, age 91, died October 17, 2016 at her home in Prosper, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Megargel Cemetery in Megargel, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Rosina was born on May 14, 1925 in London, England to the late Thomas and Isabel (Brand) Drake. She met Richard Davis Dobbs while he was stationed in England during World War II, and they married on December 16, 1944 in London. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1968. Rosina was a member of the Eastern Star and a very active member of the Daughters of the British Empire, Drury Lane Chapter in San Angelo, Texas. She moved to Prosper, Texas in 2001 from Olney, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prosper.

Rosina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Davis Dobbs; one brother, Tommy Drake; one grandson, Adam Michael Dobbs; and one great-grandson, Grayson Dean.

Survivors include two sons: Mike Dobbs and wife Cynthia of Olney and Richard Dobbs and wife Carolyn of Olney; one daughter, Brenda Staton and husband Curley of Prosper; one nephew, Robbie Drake of London, England; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Harris Hospice, 522 S. Edmonds Lane, Suite 103, Lewisville, Texas 75067.
