Ladycats take 1A State Championship at Alamodome with team unity

The Newcastle Ladycats captured the 1A State Championship and most everyone has seen the spotlight on the five starters who dominated the championship playoff games.

But there are more than five players on the team and these unsung heroes or players with little spotlight were instrumental in the almost undefeated season of the Ladycats.

Highlighted this issue are those players, along with two of the five starters we mistakenly had misplaced the captions with photos.
